Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

Link to Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)The EPS service enables patients to have their prescription sent electronically to their chosen pharmacy, meaning they don’t need to come and collect the paper prescription from us first. This service is more convenient for patients as it saves them an unnecessary trip to the surgery. By using this service, patients are helping the surgery to reduce the amount of paper prescriptions being processed, thereby keeping errors and misplaced prescriptions to a minimum, and in a time of pandemic it also reduces the number of people coming to the surgery when they don’t really need to, enabling us to maintain strict social distancing for our staff and patients. To sign up to the EPS service, please speak to the surgery dispensary team if you are a dispensing patient or to your chosen pharmacy and they will set this up for you.
